So, what is this site for anyway?

This site is an attempt to consolidate "useful recovery resources" that may help people in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) link up with other like-minded people and RECOVER / DISCOVER / BUILD ON their wellness.

While information is gathered here under "recoveringnancy", I want to stress that I am only a conduit for sharing resources that other people have shared with me. This is a kind of pass-it-forward mutually supporting access point.

If you have resources that have helped you in your recovery journey, if you are looking for information on what has helped other people, if you want to connect with others, than I hope that this site will be a starting point for you. It will only succeed if people continue to contribute so PLEASE add content, suggestions, corrections.

I hope that the resources and information will be of use to people just beginning their recovery journey, to people who are moving beyond immediate distress, to people who are in a place to support others along the way and to people who are interested in building a network of supports.

While people who are in the business of providing mental health supports and service to individuals in distress are welcome here, this site is intended to be used by peers supporting other peers in their ongoing wellness journeys.
